Back in 2012, Google started using Deep Neural Networks (DNN) as the core technology behind their voice search service. In an announcement made today, Google seems to be enhancing their neural network models with Connectionist Temporal Classification (CTC) as well as sequence discriminative training techniques. This change will allow Google Voice Search to be faster and more accurate than ever before.
